Telephone Counselling for Companies

Counselling via the phone has helped many employees and charity members to feel better about themselves, their lives and their relationships. This improvement in mental and emotional health also benefits the working environment.

The latest figures show that 11 million people in the UK are dealing with work-related ill health which is causing high levels of anxiety, stress or depression. This has resulted in over 40 million sick days. These numbers relate to the employees who have been able to address their issue, it doesn’t account for the many more who haven’t.

Employees and charity members in need of counselling

We understand that you may not feel comfortable opening up to colleagues or superiors at work, you might have a problem that's too intimate to discuss with your family or friends. Perhaps you're one of the many people who are off sick right now due to mental and emotional health problems. You could even be struggling to go into work every day and it's taking a toll on you and your private life.

Trained listeners can be there for you in your time of need. Sharing thoughts with a neutral party, in confidence, could be a great relief to you, this can enhance both your personal and working life. Talking therapy has been proven to be helpful. Telephone Counselling provides you with a safe place to release and be heard. You matter and what you're dealing with could very well be better out than in.

Whether it's depression, anxiety, bereavement, family/relationships, stress or even if it's work-related like bullying or conflict, we are here for you. Having your own non-judgemental space to express feelings can be beneficial. We believe in strengthening the counselling bond, you will be supported by the same caring and compassionate Telephone Counsellor throughout your time with us. This will save you from having to repeat your story or feeling like you are being passed around.

Can my employer or charity pay for me to get counselling?
As a member or employee, you may be entitled to Telephone Counselling which is paid for by your organisation, company, workplace or charity. It's quite common to receive 6 sessions that have been fully paid for.

If this is something you're interested in or your employers have not mentioned it yet, you can share this page with them as well as our Employee Wellbeing information. Try and make a request for counselling and let them know that you're in need of therapeutic support. If you're unsure how to go about it, please do contact us, we would be happy to help.

Can you Provide Counselling For My Employees Or Charity Members?

The statistics about poor mental health in the workplace are a huge concern. Your staff and charity members may be struggling with complex and debilitating issues. They could already be off sick now or about to be taking sick leave. Some workers might be under a lot of stress which affects their work by making them unproductive or very anxious.

You can help your employees and members, with their mental health needs, by way of funding their therapy. Employee Assistance Programs can be valuable to organisations who wish to improve the quality of life of their members.

Telephone Counselling for employees and members provides a comfortable environment where clients can offload while receiving encouragement. You can ensure that you're doing your bit to support your staff. Most organisations fund an average of 6 sessions, whatever you can do to assist your workers could really go a long way in improving their emotional health. Funding therapy also increases the chances of your employees being happier and healthier in and out of work.

The Online Counselling Service offers a safe atmosphere for clients to speak openly without fear of criticism or judgement. We have been providing distance therapy to clients worldwide since 2008. OCS Counsellors are qualified practitioners with face to face, online and telephone experience. We offer therapy for a wide range of issues. Our personalised sessions are discreet and convenient.
